ઉત્તરાયણ માં પતંગની દોરીથી પક્ષીઓને બચાવવા માટે   12 જાન્યુઆરી 2015 ના રોજ યુથ હોસ્ટેલ સેવ બર્ડ સાયકલ રેલી કાઢવામાં આવી હતી.  પેડલ ફોર સેવ બર્ડ્સ સાયકલ રેલી 10 જાન્યુઆરીએ યોજાવવાની હતી પરંતુ આજ દિવસે એકાએક દેશના વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીના અમદાવાદ ખાતે આગમનના કારણે અમદાવાદ શહેર પોલીસ ની વિનંતીને ધ્યાનમાં લઇ આ રેલી ને તબદીલ કરી ને 12 જાન્યુઆરી ના રોજ રાબેતા મુજબ યોજવામાં આવી હતી. ઉત્તરાયણમાં લોકોની પતંગ ચગાવવાની મોજ મસ્તી આકાશમાં વિહરતા પક્ષીઓ માટે ઘણી જ ખતરારૂપ બને છે. કાચ પાયેલી ધારદાર, ચાઈનીજ  કે નાયલોન દોરીનો ભોગ બનેલા અનેક પક્ષીઓ મોતને ઘાટ ઉતરતા હોય છે. ખાસ કરીને સવારમાં માળામાંથી બહાર નીકળતા તેમજ સાંજે પરત ફરતા પક્ષીઓ આ સમયે દોરીનો શિકાર વધુ બનતા હોય છે. ઉત્તરાયણ ના તહેવારને હવે ગણતરીના દિવસો બાકી છે ત્યારે અમદાવાદીઓ ખુબજ ઉત્સાહી છે. પતંગ રસિયાઓ સ્વંય આ દોરીનો ઉપયોગ તેમજ ખાસ કરીને પક્ષીઓના વિહરવાના સમયે પતંગ ચગાવવાનું ટાળે તે ઉદ્દેશ્યથી છેલ્લા 4 વર્ષની માફક આ વર્ષે પણ યુથ હોસ્ટેલ્સ એસોસીએશન ઓફ ઇન્ડિયા બાપુનગર દ્વારા યુવા અનસ્ટોપેબલ ના સહયોગ થી 12 જાન્યુઆરી 2015 સ...
