A bicycle rally for “Save Bird Campaign”  had been organized on 11-Jan-2014 With compliments to state that recently, synthetic nylon cord (Dori, Manja) which is also known as Chinese cord (Dori, Manja) which is banned however easily available in the market has proven dangerous to the birds. With the intention that kite lovers themselves avoid using the Chinese cord and under  “Save bird campaign”  and  “A Road safety awareness campaign” ,  Youth Hostels Association of India, Ahmedabad, Bapunagar unit  had organized a bicycle rally named  “Pedal for Save Bird”  with students from Standard 7 to Standard 10. The rally had travelled approximately 12.6 km in the city’s eastern area.
